THIN MAN ON THE CASE
Having heard the news broadcast on the radio, Nora, anxious to get on the case, gives Nick the eye to get going and follow the clues. The combination lock face represents the vault from which the valuables were taken, the jewels part of the loot, along with the gold circles depicting stolen gold coins. The body lies under the curtain of death extending down through the darkness enveloping the gold coins.
